How Neurofeedback Works?

Neurofeedback is a therapy used for many common conditions including ADHD, Insomnia, Anxiety, and Brain Injury.

Neurofeedback is employed to strengthen the electrical activity in your brain with the use of highly specialized brain exercises and games. The treatments usually range from 10-30 sessions and last for approx 30 minutes per session depending on the patient’s condition. Neurofeedback is safe and effective.

Patients report enhanced memory and focus, decreased impulsivity and anxiety, better mental clarity, more restful sleep, and improved mood.

Benefits of Neurofeedback

  • Improving attention and focus
  • Reducing anxiety and depression symptoms
  • Managing symptoms of ADHD, autism, and other neurological conditions
  • Enhancing athletic and artistic performance
  • Managing chronic pain
  • Improving sleep quality

Is it Good to my Condition?

Neurofeedback can be helpful for a wide range of conditions, but it’s important to discuss your specific case with us to determine if neurofeedback is a good fit for you.

Recovery Time

Neurofeedback sessions are typically 30-60 minutes long and can be repeated weekly or bi-weekly for a period of several weeks to several months. Some people may start to notice improvements after a few sessions, while others may require more time to see significant results.

Aftercare Instructions

After each neurofeedback session, it’s important to drink plenty of water and get enough rest to allow your brain to integrate the feedback. It’s also recommended to engage in activities that support brain health, such as regular exercise, a healthy diet, and stress reduction techniques.

Effectiveness

Studies have shown that neurofeedback can be an effective treatment for a variety of conditions, but results can vary depending on the individual and the specific condition being treated. It’s important to work with a qualified healthcare professional and set realistic expectations for the potential benefits of neurofeedback.

Pain

Neurofeedback is a painless and non-invasive procedure. During the session, electrodes are placed on the scalp to measure brain activity, but there is no physical discomfort associated with the procedure.
